Exciting news! Jacobs will be recognized as WTS International (WTS)’s The Employer of the Year in the San Diego and Washington, D.C. regions.
Since 1977, WTS, formerly called Women’s Transportation Seminar, has focused on promoting the advancement of women in the transportation industry.
Jacobs’ recognition as the Employer of the Year awardee honors our work in enhancing the transportation industry through a commitment to excellence and quality of product and service with a track record for recruiting, retaining and advancing women at all employment levels.
These awards build on our significant recent success in the regions, with major project wins in environmental, design, construction management and program management – with key transportation clients, including the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG), San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS), the California Department of Transportation (CALTRANS), the Imperial County Transportation Commission (ICTC), the City of San Diego, and the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority (SDCRAA) in San Diego, and the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA), the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), the District of Columbia Department of Transportation (DDOT), and the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) in the Washington, D.C. region.
