Jacobs has been appointed to Melbourne Water's Engineering Services Panel. One of just two consultants appointed to the panel, Jacobs will deliver engineering consulting services, including strategic planning, feasibility and design services, to Melbourne Water to help deliver better outcomes for projects and customers. The appointment is for an initial three-year period with possible extension for up to seven years.

Jacobs was selected to provide civil, structural and marine engineering consulting and design services for the Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT). The largest container port in Florida, JAXPORT is deepening its shipping channel to accommodate more cargo aboard the larger ships calling on them from destinations throughout Asia and other world markets through both the Panama and Suez canals. Jacobs has been selected to provide engineering services to design and manage the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority's (Metro) solid waste, recycling and hazardous waste compliance program.

Jacobs was selected by the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) to support research into nuclear fusion and related technologies. Under the Engineering, Design and Build Framework for Electrical Assemblies, Jacobs will support UKAEA's research and development work in the Remote Applications in Challenging Environments (RACE) facility at Culham Science Centre in Oxfordshire, England.

Jacobs was selected by Metra to provide engineering and design services for the Rock Island Connection (P2), as part of the Chicago Region Environmental and Transportation Efficiency (CREATE) Program's 75th Street Corridor Improvement Project (75th St. CIP). Combined for logistic and environmental reasons, the 75th St. CIP is the CREATE Program's largest project and addresses Chicago's top congestion point.

The Board of Directors of Jacobs has declared a quarterly cash dividend payable to shareholders in the amount of $0.19 per share of Jacobs common stock. This dividend will be paid on Oct. 30, 2020, to shareholders of record as of the close of business on Oct. 2, 2020.
