Jacobs was recently selected to partner with the City of Wilmington to operate and manage its wastewater treatment plant, combined sewer overflow facilities and its Renewable Energy Biosolids Facility (REBF). Located 30 minutes south of Philadelphia, Wilmington is Delaware's largest city and the state's economic engine, with a wastewater operation serving more than 400,000 residents.

Jacobs announced effective March 25, 2020 it entered into a new term loan facility. Under the terms of the facility, the company borrowed $730 million and a U.K. subsidiary borrowed £250 million with a maturity in March 2025. The proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes including the repayment of certain debt. Borrowings under the term loan will bear interest at the prevailing LIBOR rate plus a margin of between 0.875% and 1.50%.

Jacobs has been selected to provide technical design and planning advisory services to Enfield Council for the delivery of strategic infrastructure at Meridian Water, a $7.75 billion (£6bn), 20-year regeneration program in Upper Edmonton, in the London Borough of Enfield, North London.

Jacobs was selected by the Maryland Procurement Office to provide microelectronics engineering support to the Department of Defense Hardware Solutions Division (HSD) for unconventional packaging, printed circuit board prototyping, technology development, custom device engineering and product validation and reliability solutions.

Jacobs was selected by U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory, Aerospace Systems Directorate West (AFRL/RQ-West), for the Rocket and Propulsion Technology Research contract (RAPTR) at Edwards Air Force Base in California. AFRL/RQ-West is part of the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC).

Jacobs has completed its acquisition of Wood Nuclear, part of John Wood Group (LSE: WG), for an enterprise value of approximately £250 million ($325 million). The transaction enhances Jacobs' credentials as a global leader of total lifecycle nuclear services and technology-enabled solutions, providing strategic support to clients' mission-critical defense and clean energy priorities, nuclear clean-up and decommissioning, environmental restoration and operational support.

Jacobs was selected by U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Atlantic for base operating support (BOS) services at naval installations located in Jefferson and Kitsap counties in Washington, referred to as West Sound (WSBOS).

Jacobs was awarded a framework contract by the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket), to provide strategic consultancy services for the new high-speed railway lines planned between Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö in Sweden.

Jacobs has been selected by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to provide architecture and engineering design for the Korea Air Operations and Intelligence Center (KAOIC), one of the largest projects that is currently part of the U.S. Military Construction and Host Nation Funding Program.

Jacobs was selected by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, South Atlantic Division, Mobile District to deliver architect and engineering services for its Environmental Quality Program. The multiple award task order contract will support military, civil and federal agencies such as the U.S. Army, Air Force, Marine Corps and Navy, Defense Logistics Agency and other Department of Defense installations within the Mobile District's Area of Responsibility (AOR) and South Atlantic Division's AOR.

Jacobs has been awarded places on four Lots for Network Rail's prestigious Design Services Framework (DSF), to deliver multi-disciplinary technical and professional services, including geotechnical, civils and structures capability. This is the maximum number of Lots that could be awarded to any one supplier.
