Lia Black is an environmental consultant, spatial analyst and experienced project manager. In her 17-year career she has worked on a range of disciplinary environmental projects. As Jacobs Section Leader for Defence Solutions and Advisory across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), Lia currently leads the solutions and advisory area for Australia’s Defence and Regional Security (DRS )business, looking after technical solutions delivery across estate strategic planning, business case, design, environment/heritage/contamination, digital, security and cost planning.

Q&A: Talking with Alyssa Carson, International Relations STEM Intern
Alyssa Carson has had an interest in space since she was a little girl. She is currently a junior at Florida Tech studying astrobiology, which she hopes will lead her to a career where she can one day research bacteria in space. At 15, Alyssa joined Project PoSSUM, a citizen science research group, and has since been able to participate in microgravity flights, water survival, airborne research and space suit testing. She joined Jacobs’ International Space Relations team earlier in the year and has thoroughly enjoyed learning about the different space agencies around the world.

Juliet Woodward is a chemical and process engineer, with post-graduate qualifications in environmental management, and currently leads our client relationship teams across New Zealand (NZ) in all sectors including water, transport, power, health, pharmaceuticals, cities and places and environmental. She is a Director and Board Member of Jacobs New Zealand and has been with the company for over 27 years. She is also a Board Member of the Eastern Busway Alliance and recently became a Fellow of Engineering NZ.

Tammy Harrison-Round works in our Jacobs’ Quantity Surveying team, which is part of our overarching Major Programs and Projects Group (MPPG). Working with colleagues across the U.K. and India, her team works with local and global clients to provide commercial, contractual and procurement advice throughout their entire project. They work across many sectors such as buildings, highways, rail, water, defense and security.
