Red Sea International Airport
The Red Sea is poised to become an exclusive tourism destination that will position Saudi Arabia on the global tourism map. To access this new region, The Red Sea International Airport (RSI) will act as the gateway to the Red Sea archipelago and resorts. Jacobs, along with our team of sub-consultants, was tasked to develop the design for RSI from detailed design through to construction documentation.

Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport
Jacobs has played a key role in the development of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), located in Atlanta, Georgia, since 2001. Together, we make significant contributions toward enhancing infrastructure, fostering innovation and promoting community and economic development on behalf of the City of Atlanta’s Department of Aviation.

Brisbane Airport, New Parallel Runway
One of the largest infrastructure projects currently underway in Queensland, the new parallel runway at Brisbane Airport is the largest expansion of the airport’s aeronautical assets since its original 1950s construction. The new runway will effectively double the capacity of the airport, providing long-term growth to Brisbane and Queensland through more choices in airlines, destinations and flight times, along with 7,800 new jobs and an additional $5 billion for the regional economy.

Denver International Airport (DEN)
DEN is one of the biggest in the United States and the world, connecting more than 200 nonstop destinations and 78 million passengers (CY 2023) with no signs of slowing down. Operating on 53 square miles, twice the size of Manhattan, DEN is poised to continue growing exponentially, utilizing partners such as Jacobs to keep people connecting today and into the future.

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport
Operated by the Port of Seattle (the Port), Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) serves the people of the Pacific Northwest and beyond with essential services, access to hundreds of domestic and global destinations, and economic activity that supports tens of thousands of jobs and produces $20 billion in economic activity. Given continuous expected growth, SEA is working with partners like Jacobs to improve the passenger experience – from airport drop-off to departure – and we’re helping several key projects and programs across the airport take flight.

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
Since 2017, Jacobs has worked alongside LAWA to provide program management & construction management (PM/CM) services on airport modernization programs such as the Landside Access Modernization Program (LAMP) as well as other initiatives that are a part of LAWA’s Phase I Capital Improvement Program (CIP). The airport’s CIP is multi-billion-dollar capital improvement effort that is modernizing terminals, enriching guest experiences, creating a safer airfield, relieving congestion and enhancing LAX's status as a world-class airport.

Andrew Gibson, Global Aviation Market Director
Jacobs Global Aviation Market Director Andrew Gibson has over 30 years of experience in the design, construction and planning of airport infrastructure both as a client and a consultant, undertaking projects in the U.K., Europe, India, Latin America and Africa. He has led a wide range of airport planning projects at regional and major international airports such as Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Mumbai and Hong Kong, covering all aspects of airport design from the aeronautical planning of multiple runway systems, through airport and airfield master planning to the design of terminal buildings, airfields and ancillary facilities. He has also acted as an advisor on a wide range of airport concessions from both the buy and sale side.

Cheryl McNall, Global Solutions Director for Aviation
Cheryl McNall’s more than 19 years of experience covers all aspects of airport infrastructure, including airfield, ancillary facilities and terminals. She’s led the delivery of projects globally in airport planning, design, design competitions, environmental planning, asset management, value planning/engineering, stakeholder engagement, passenger experience and simulation. Cheryl’s experience encompasses key roles supplier and client-side at some of the world’s busiest airports and mega-programs in the U.K., U.S., Middle East, Asia and India.

Ersin Inankul, Digital Aviation Global Principal
Ersin Inankul is an airport technology leader who has successfully led over 22 airport projects from managing design, implementation, integration of systems and operational readiness and airport transfer (ORAT) in Turkey, Tunisia and the Middle East. Ersin's diverse experience has enabled him to develop a broad range of skills, making him adaptable to different challenges and proficient in generating creative solutions. As the focal point of various IT, aviation systems and integration relating to airport and airline interfaces, Ersin has gained considerable knowledge, skills and expertise in each particular field. His core competencies include people management, project and contractual management and IT solution design and delivery. With over 20 years of experience in the aviation business, he excels in strategic planning and leadership, enterprise-wide technology upgrades, project and program management and change and release management.

The Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority Soars in Style: Paves Way for New Passenger Terminal
Heralding a new era in air travel, The Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority rolled out the red carpet to celebrate the glamorous 94th anniversary of Hollywood Burbank Airport on May 30, 2024! With this celebration, officials sealed the deal on $724.78 million in 2024 Airport Revenue Bonds, which were issued through an underwriting syndicate led by BofA Securities with Public Resources Advisory Group serving as the Authority’s municipal advisor. The bonds are paving the way for a brand-new, state-of-the-art passenger terminal that will be 355,000-square-feet and include a 14-gate terminal that promises to redefine the airport experience for millions of travelers.
