Emerging technologies like Autonomous Rail Transit, Bus Rapid Transit, or Trackless Train are presenting opportunities for new and reimagined mid-tier rapid transport systems. These advancements can play a pivotal role in decarbonising the public transport network, through clean, zero-emission vehicles. Jacobs Technical Director for Mass Transit (ANZ) Simon Jones will share his learnings from the implementation of these systems, drawing from Jacobs’ projects across various phases of the project lifecycle in Australia and New Zealand.

    Dr. Wesley Wong, Head of Sector, Transport Asia

    Dr. Wesley Wong leads Jacobs’ Transport and Infrastructure sectors in Asia. He provides executive oversight across all major transport infrastructure projects in the region including the Kuala Lumpur – Singapore High Speed Rail (HSR) project, HSR projects in Thailand and Indonesia and metro projects such as Johor Bahru to Singapore Rapid Transit System Link, Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit in Malaysia and the Cross Island Line project in Singapore.
