We're the design consultant for a 23-mile-long rail line in the Klang Valley, connecting Bandar Utama in the east and Klang in the west. Expected to transport 67,000 commuters daily, it will enhance rail connectivity and improve livability for nearly two million residents in the Western Corridor of the city.

3 Airport High Speed Railway, Bangkok, Thailand
Jacobs is the Technical Advisor for the 220km high-speed railway line linking Thailand's major airports. Our role includes reviewing civil and structural works, trackwork, and contract documentation. Jacobs is also the Lenders Technical Advisor, drawing on global and local experts to support the project during a challenging period of COVID-19 lockdowns.

Jacobs is leading the design and implementation stages of the project, providing engineering consultancy and construction supervision services for Etihad Rail, including technical support for building the freight railway from the Saudi Arabian border through each Emirate in the UAE.

Cross River Rail, Australia
As part of the Unity Alliance, we’re delivering the rail, integration and systems work package for the Cross River Rail project in Brisbane, Australia. Services include designing and reconfiguring the rail network at either end of the new cross city tunnels, supplying and installing supporting rail systems, integrating Cross River Rail into Queensland Rail's existing network and upgrading seven stations.

High Speed Two - Phase One, U.K.
Jacobs has supported Phase One of HS2 since 2012, initially as HS2 Ltd’s Development Partner and more recently as lead member of the Engineering Delivery Partner joint venture. By building a new railway line, HS2 will take fast trains off the existing railway and onto dedicated tracks, better connecting major towns and cities in the U.K.

Our team helped deliver this nation-building endeavor, providing detailed design services for the viaduct structures along a 29km stretch of Corridor 3 from Nagole to Raidurg stations.
