Extending Jacobs’ industry leadership in Digital Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) solutions, we’re integrating innovative artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning into our EHS Information Management (IM) offering to greatly reduce compliance costs and risk for our industrial, commercial and government sector clients.
In a teaming agreement with ehsAI, a next wave technology company, Jacobs is working with clients to streamline the current manual process of providing complete, detailed compliance requirements directly from critical documents like regulations, standards, procedures and permits, globally.
The ehsAI platform harnesses AI, specifically natural language processing (NLP), to automate the conversion of regulatory documents up to 100 times faster than current state of the art permit deconstruction and data entry/processing, while maintaining better than human accuracy and consistency. This includes the latest OSHA regulations related to the COVID-19 pandemic compliance.
“Combining our global EHS IM experience and software vendor partnerships with ehsAI’s advanced technology creates and delivers a powerful and cost-effective total compliance solution,” explains Jacobs EHS Information Management Sales Leader Lucas Wolfenden.
Along with improved data collection, configuration and integration, the solution saves time and costs, reduces or eliminates financial penalties for non-compliance, and reduces corporate environmental risk and inconsistent interpretations – helping to achieve corporate sustainability targets and key operational and business objectives.
The advanced digital compliance technology supports EHS IM clients in the chemicals, energy, manufacturing, technology, life science/pharmaceutical and transportation sectors, as well as the nuclear remediation, utilities and government sectors.
At Jacobs, we apply the expertise of our multidisciplinary engineering and professional teams to develop industry leading EHS IM solutions for our clients that address compliance management, emissions management, quality and risk, hazard communications and process safety, occupational health and safety and operational sustainability and resiliency.
