Jacobs Wins Contract for Bridge Inspection Services in San Diego

We’re bridging the gap to excellence in San Diego! The San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) selected Jacobs to provide construction management services for bridge inspections on their bridge assets across the San Diego region. 

We’ll be supporting inspection of all 85 bridges within the MTS system, including the newly added bridges from the completion of the Blue Line Extension (Mid Coast), an 11-mile extension of the light rail system connecting the region’s most travelled trolley line to major employment centers, schools, hospitals and recreation areas. These inspections are crucial for maintaining and implementing MTS’s comprehensive, compliant Bridge Management Program across its 168 light rail transit vehicles and 127 miles of track.
