Jacobs Selected for Two Contracts from U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District

PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today that it was recently selected for two separate Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contracts by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District.

Under the terms of the first IDIQ contract, Jacobs is providing a variety of Architect/Engineer (A/E) services, primarily for Army Reserve projects nationwide (including Puerto Rico) and military projects within the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division mission boundaries. The scope of work may include training centers, vehicle maintenance shops, stand-alone buildings, and other structures unique to Army Reserve facilities and military installations. The five year contract’s total capacity is $9 million.

Upon award of the second IDIQ contract, Jacobs, in a Joint Venture with Stantec, is providing A/E services primarily for Army, Air Force, other military, and Civil Works projects at various locations within the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division mission boundaries. Military projects may consist of many different building types, site development, and infrastructure and utility projects for installations assigned within the Division area of operation; as well as master planning and specialized or mission-specific facilities. Civil works projects may consist of flood damage reduction studies and designs, ecosystem restoration, stream bank erosion control, navigation improvements, additions and repairs to locks and dams, geotechnical investigations, levee and floodwall evaluation and design, planning and design of waterfront facilities and other recreation facilities. The five year contract’s total capacity is $9.5 million.
