Chris Burns is a transportation planner with a proven 24-year track record of delivering strategic guidance to governments, infrastructure operators, developers, investors, and lenders. Having worked in over 15 countries, his expertise encompasses a diverse range of specialties, with a focus on transportation analytics and demand forecasting.
Chris has a deep understanding of Jacobs’ StreetLight Insight® big data platform, previously acting as the technical ambassador for platform for clients and partners across the U.S. South-Central region.
He also brings recent local experience in Texas, including the Texas Border Transportation Masterplan which explored demand, speeds, capacities, wait times, and accident statistics for key corridors to, from and between the ports of entry. He also was involved in the I-20 Corridor Study, which included identifying impacts of autonomous vehicles in the Statewide Strategic Transportation Model, and the SH 288 Managed Lanes project.
