Her expertise encompasses a broad range of projects, including those that involve complex roadway design. Deylnn’s work often requires innovative solutions to accommodate limited right-of-way impacts while delivering quality results. A project that highlights her skills is the reconstruction of TxDOT’s Houston District FM 2920, which transformed 7.2-miles from two lanes to four lanes and added turn lanes and pedestrian infrastructure. The project is in a rapidly developing area and requires coordination with adjacent property owners. As such, Delynn coordinates closely with Harris County Flood Control District on drainage and detention basins, TxDOT on environmental clearance, ROW acquisition, utilities, geotechnical, CTMS, and signals, and other consultants on adjacent segments – demonstrating her influence and skillful stakeholder engagement to deliver smooth right-of-way decisions and roadway designs that fulfill the needs of those who use and manage the infrastructure.
