Data Centers
Delivering sustainable, reliable data center solutions
We live in an era of the Internet of Things, cloud computing, virtual universes and AI-powered chatbots – all made possible through data centers. As applications for data and demand for bandwidth continue to grow, so does the demand for data center services.
For over 30 years, high-technology and mission critical design has been at the core of our practice. We specialize in providing integrated planning, architecture, engineering, construction management, and commissioning specifically for data centers.
We also understand the emergence of AI has led to increased production load requirements, causing data centers to work even harder to keep up, land to expand data center campuses be sold at a premium, and new power and cooling methods be implemented to decarbonize for a more sustainable future.
Our impactful custom solutions combine traditional designs with the flexibility to accommodate future demands, by using plug-and-play solutions, and implementing the latest technologies from our energy, environment and water end markets.
We understand the need for a global network of expertise and knowledge to design for scalability, adapt for market demand and innovate to remain several steps ahead. We create impactful solutions so you can succeed – not just today but into tomorrow.

What we do
With the rapid shift to AI, data centers are even more critical to how we work and live. We create impactful solutions not just for today but into tomorrow.
-
Consulting Services
Before construction breaks ground on a new data center, we understand that years of campus planning, site selection, energy modeling, total cost of ownership and reliability analysis needs to be carefully calculated and evaluated. We assist across the full spectrum of consulting services ranging from tax incentive coordination through program development analysis needs to ensure your new facility is not only efficient, but sustainable and reliable, seamlessly integrated into the communities they’ll reside in.
-
Full-Service Design
Our global team of data center practitioners implement the latest digital innovation across the full engineering spectrum, life safety/fire protection, security, interior and landscape design and architecture planning because each campus and each geography requires a tailored design approach.
-
Construction Management
To bring projects to life, our construction management team specializes in full-time on-site program management, project controls, contractor/vendor management and coordination, procurement, scheduling, and most importantly, safety.
-
Commissioning
Our commissioning team specializes in plan development, turnover management, operator training, retro-commissioning and third-party testing to ensure your facility is running as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
-
Cross Market Solutions
Data center campuses require more than the facility to operate. They rely on local power connections to keep up with increasing demand for AI learning, water to cool down the growing load requirements and much more. Our global cross market team applies lessons learned from all infrastructure projects to make facilities more resilient, energy efficient and secure.

Confidential Client, AI Learning Data Center
Situated on a 40.64-acre land parcel, this AI Learning Data center is being delivered by our teammates around the globe. It is marked by its ongoing status and several key features including: directly liquid cooling technology; an innovative design modification to accommodate various size racks within existing design framework; retention of existing facilities to maximize efficient space use; and a modular and standardized design approach for fast procurement and construction.
-
Colocation Client Flexible Data Center Program
We provided engineering design services for the prototype design for modular scalable data center and site-specific design for two locations to a confidential client. Buildings include six colocation suites of approximately 25,000 square feet each plus administrative and support areas.
-
US Army Corps of Engineers, Utah Data Center
As design partner in a design-build joint venture, we provided architecture and engineering design services for the $1.2 billion Utah Data Center. With innovative technology and energy efficiency features, the facility is designed and constructed to achieve LEED Silver certification. In addition, our team maximized the use of Building Information Modeling to facilitate collaboration and coordination of all project elements throughout design and construction.
-
Confidential Colocation Provider, Data Center Campus
We provided campus planning for the four-building, 300+ megawatt Data Center Campus. As the prime design consultant for design and construction administration services on the first two data centers on the campus, as well as tenant fit-outs, we provided architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection services. The project intends to be LEED certified once complete.
-
OCP Data Center
We delivered a highly resilient and efficient data center for OCP Group, one of the largest global exporter of phosphates. In a location with a hot, arid climate, a scarcity of water and few existing data centers, our team provided OCP with a flexible facility that meets the needs of their organization, their customers and partners serving Morocco and the African continent.
